$24M hospital under construction near Spurs practice center

In July 2022, the San Antonio Business Journal reported on construction underway for a new rehabilitation hospital near the Spurs' practice facility in the South Texas Medical Center. The $24 million, nearly 50-bed project broke ground as part of a partnership between two North Texas-based companies, and opened in 2023 as San Antonio Rehabilitation Hospital — New Era's first purpose-built inpatient rehabilitation facility in the San Antonio market.
